What Are Templates in Sellify AI?

Templates in Sellify AI are prebuilt or customized conversation flows designed to help you quickly launch automated campaigns. They serve as a starting point, allowing you to personalize your message logic, offers, pricing, and event triggers while following proven structures that convert.

Templates Help You:

  • Launch campaigns faster: Start with a proven framework and adjust as needed.

  • Maintain compliance and best practices: Prebuilt flows adhere to messaging regulations.

  • Customize conversations: Match messaging to your service offerings and audience.

  • Add service pricing and payment prompts: Clearly communicate costs upfront.

  • Incorporate events and notifications: Automate follow-ups based on customer responses.

  • Improve consistency: Keep messaging aligned across locations or team members.

Using Templates to Build Your Flow

Step 1: Add Company Templates

Click Company Templates. Then click +template in the right hand corner of the screen. Then Choose from a variety of template types, such as:

  • Company Policies

  • This covers any policies specific to the company or branch selected.

  • Company Examples

  • These are conversational examples of questions that might be asked and how you might respond (based off of information provided for polices).

  • Example: customer asks "is this safe for kids and pets" response "we recommend keeping kids and pets away from the product application sites until it has completely dried"

  • AI Sales Name

  • This is the name you want your AI rep to present themselves to customers.

  • Company Name

  • This is the company name presented to the customer during conversations.

Each template includes a ready-made conversation structure that can be pasted based on real campaign data and performance insights. You can simply paste these in and leave them the way they are- or, you have the ability to customized these templates for your specific company's needs. Once you have filled in the template, you can give it a name for ease of reference.

As you test conversations, if adjustments are needed, you can come back in and edit or add to these at any time.


Step 2: Build a "Services" Template

This is where you will want to build out your service packages so that the AI knows what can be offered in each of your campaigns. If you have multiple offers and services, please create a service template for each unique offering. Please note that template does not need to be created for each "service offering" just service type.

Pest control Example: You might have 4 different mosquito packages in your CRM. You will only need to add 1 mosquito service template in Sellify AI (then add additional naming of the other services in the "possible name variation in CRM" portion of the template creation.

To do this- in the Services Tab, click + services. This is where you build out your service plans and offers.

  • Service Name

  • This is the name of the service. Example "General Pest Control Plan" or "General Lawn Care"

  • Service Description

  • Description of the plan's details and billing

  • What does this service include

  • This is where you put in what is generally included in this plan.

  • Pest control example: General pest, includes spiders, ants, rodents, web knockdown

  • Possible name variation in CRM

  • This is where you will add in different name variation for the same service type. (example, bi-monthly general pest, monthly general pest, per service general pest etc.) click +add for each unique name.

After selecting a template, you can:

  • Adjust messages to reflect your brand voice.

  • Edit questions and response branches for clarity and relevance.

  • Insert your preferred service offerings and CTA timing.

  • Add custom fields to pull in CRM data


Step 3: Build and Offer Template

Create your pricing and ideal conversation flows in the Offer Tab. Templates support dynamic pricing display within the flow.

  • Offer Name

  • Name of the offer. Example "General Pest Winback"

  • Goal

  • Goal of the offer- example, winback

  • Service

  • What service template goes with this goal?

  • Offer and Service Details

  • What are the details for this specific offer? This would include pricing, and promotions (example, waived initial) etc. See pasted suggestions for hints.

  • Ideal Conversation Flow

  • This is the conversation structure you would like your AI rep to use when pitching a sale.

Tip: Pricing should be clear, honest, and positioned with value language to encourage action. You can also test different price points compare results.

After selecting a template, you can:

  • Adjust messages to reflect your brand voice.

  • Edit questions and response branches for clarity and relevance.

  • Insert your preferred service offerings and CTA timing.

  • Add custom fields to pull in CRM data


Step 4: Add Events and Configure Notifications

Events are an integral part of templates, allowing you to trigger notifications based on customer responses or actions.

Types of Events:

  • Required Master Events:

    • Must be included in every template.

    • Examples:

      • Interested: Indicates the customer is ready to proceed.

      • Not Interested: Marks a declined offer.

  • Suggested Master Events:

    • Recommended but optional.

  • Custom Events:

    • Can be added as needed to track specific customer behaviors.

Configuring Event Notifications:

For each event, you can specify:

  • Send Email on Detection: Notify internal users when the event is triggered.

  • Disable Other Responses: Prevent automated replies after the event is logged.

  • Enable Manual Follow-Up: Mark the event for manual review and response.


Step 5: Assign the Flow to a Campaign

Once you’ve customized your template:

  • Save it as a new Custom Flow.

  • Assign it during Campaign Creation under the Conversation Flow dropdown.

This allows you to reuse flows across campaigns or branches without needing to start from scratch every time.
